Aisling has worked at The University of Sheffield since May 2008 and has worked with Professor Banwart on various research projects as project manager. Following maternity leave, Aisling started working on SoilTrEC in November 2010.

As the SoilTrEC Project Manager, Aisling is responsible for administrative coordination and the daily operation of the integrated project. Aisling maintains project communication, liaising with partners to ensure effective administrative support. Aisling coordinates project meetings, supports the Data Management Committee and acts as formal project contact with stakeholders. Aisling maintains the project web site and tracks partner performance and budgets and communicates risks. Aisling also compiles the annual progress report and supports the Coordinator in formal reporting to the European Commission.
