Dr Toma Shishkov is an Assoc. Professor in the Department of Soil Genesis, Geography and Classification at the Institute of Soil Science. He is an expert in soil science with a solid experience in: pedological approach for soil genesis, diagnostics and classification schemes, and research concerning the transformation of soil organic matter, general principles of soil monitoring and relation to the soil threats. Dr Shishkov was involved in a number of recent international Projects: ENVASSO, SoilCritZone, SPADE2 and others.
